- On 15th March, Vishwakesari Foundation received an application for educational help. The active team members verified all the details and started to find out the ways to help him. The needy boy lived in Nagpur with his parents, in a rented room. Both parents are old. The father of that guy did marketing job at the age of 52 and he got only 8000 rupees after that hard work. In that amount they had to pay rent, medical expenses, groceries of the house etc. So they faced the prospect of educational expense, they were left with nothing. That needy boy wanted to join classes for MS-CIT & TALLY. Combinedly the fees was Rs. 10000. When the boy came to know about this, he was disappointed and felt helpless. But when Vishwakesari Foundation holds the hand of a needy Brahmin, then he need not worry. We visited that institute and had a word with the owner. After they came to know about the whole situation, they were impressed by the whole-hearted, selfless work of Vishwakesari Foundation and gave discount on the fees. Thereafter we handed over the cheque of Rs.8500 to the institute for the well-being and bright future of that needy Brahmin boy. The owner of that institute, after listening about the work of Vishwakesari Foundation, showed great response to join and spread our activity.
- Dr. Ambatkar is a well-known doctor in Nagpur city, who spread the word about Vishwakesari Foundation, its dedication to Brahmin welfare, selfless and whole-hearted work to unkown persons. Accordingly one evening Vishwakesari Foundation got a call from a group pf people who wanted to know about our work. The essential character of Vishwakesari Foundation is that they never say 'No' for genuine situations. The whole team reached there and explained everything about the Foundation's mission and work. Impressed be the presentation, etiquettes and mannerisms of our members, the gathering got impressed and donated Rs. 51,000 for Medical Aid and Rs. 25,000 for educational help for needy Brahmin community members. Interestingly, these persons did not belong to the native Brahmin community, but were Gujrathi. They showered loveable words about our sincerity, transparent workholism, and outstanding selfless work. Our efforts have taught us that transparent, selfless, motivated, whole-hearted work never fails. It keeps attaining new heights.
- The extremely popular singer of Nagpur and Winner of Sur Nava Dhyas Nava Show - Mr. Aniruddha Joshi is a part of Vishwakesari Foundation. Our team visited his home and invited him for a musical event 'गजर स्वातंत्र्याचा'. He presented his art without charging any fees. We also presented him our annual magazine.
- 22nd March - An Unforgettable Date for Us. Everyone in the world was experiencing a Pandemic, Lockdowns etc. When people fighting against the coronavirus at different hospitals, some people enjoyed family get-togethers in the lockdown. Many needy people faced a lot of problems regarding food, wages, shelter home, etc. During these challenging times, Vishwakesari Foundation appealed to donors for raising of funds for these needy people. Our goal was to at least provide them with enough food. We made a list of Brahmin families, who were really facing these issues and provided them with a Help Kit containing essential and necessary groceries. During that period, Vishwakesari Foundation helped more than 135 families in and around Nagpur.
- In the critical period of the pandemic, Vishwakesari Foundation got an application regarding cancer treatment of a needy person. The applicant's family consisted of his mother and wife. All three of them worked hard and tried to servive on their own. But when they came to know that the man is suffering from cancer, they lost their normal routine life and tried to gather money for his treatment. Due to the pandemic, they lost all their hopes due their job losses. So they applied for help to Vishwakesari Foundation. Our team verified all the information provided by the applicant and handed over the cheque of Rs. 10,000 in the name of hospital so that the needy family could continue with the treatment.
- Vishwakesari Foundation got an application for medical help. The aged father of the applicant had an accident while he was on his way home. In that accident, he suffered from major injuries on the waist, back and broke the femur bone (thighbone). Thereafter they got wrong treatment in a hospital, where his money and precious time was wasted. Due to that wrong treatment, he had very much pain in the injured parts. Fortunately they came in contact with a specialized doctor and he started the treatment. The doctor adviced him for the operation. But the needy family was not in the position to bear the operation's cost. So they applied to Vishwakesari Foundation for this medical help. We verified all the information provided by the needy family and helped them by providing a cheque of Rs. 10,000 in the name of the hospital.
- Once a well-educated guy applied to us for medical help. This application was received from Baramati, Maharashtra. He lived there, with his parents. His mother is a cancer patient. Due to the lockdowns he lost his job, father lost his Pourohitya Pujas. So the family surviving on the savings that they made before the pandemic. On the basis of those savings, he was taking care of his mother. But, as a family, he had to look at all donestic aspects. So he applied for the help of groceries. Vishwakesari Foundation helped him after verifying all the details. We asked him if he wished to do business in his city. He took his time and said that he is able to sell 'Ghee' which was in great demand in the city. We helped him to become an entrepreneur and provided Rs. 2000 for initial start. We believe not only in giving financial assistance, but also in helping able members to stand on their feet.
